April update and new yoga schedule

This is just a quick reminder about the upcoming series at the Mt Baker Community Club, starting this coming Monday, April 22 (at a new time!)

Mt Baker Community Yoga is now…
Monday mornings, 10-11 am
Wednesday evenings, 7-8:15 pm

I’ve gone back and forth on a theme this time around, excited about the interest in hips, shoulders, core, balance, and our conversations about contentment and the carry-over of yoga practice off the mat.  So we’ll try to keep weaving all these pieces into the practice, even as we focus in on the core and balance in this late spring series.  We’ll investigate standing balances, arm balances, core strength and flexibility…. and ultimately look at how these practices can help us find balance ease in the rest of our lives off the mat.  My secret hope is that for those of you made nervous by the phrase “arm balance,” you’ll come and be surprised by how much you can do!
